If you misplaced it, just download it here as a .pdf file. ::Anna's parents' house 6719 39th Ave. SW Seattl, WA 98136 Map here: View Larger Map By car: From downtown Seattle (including all the suggested hotels)-- Take I-5 South Take Exit 163A toward West Seattle Bridge / Spokane Street Stay in the left lanes and follow signs to Fauntleroy Way At the first light, turn left onto 35th Ave. SW Turn right on SW Morgan (you'll see a U-Haul station) Turn left on 39th Ave. SW End at 6719 39th Ave. SW ::The Hostel The hostel is located on Vashon Island, linked to Seattle by a ferry only. The ferry accommodates both walk-on and drive-on passengers, though it is cheaper to walk on. (A tool to calculate fares can be found here, but just know that it's about $4/person roundtrip, and cars are about $14 roundtrip). We've made arrangements to bring walk-on guests from the point at which the ferry docks on Vashon Island to the hostel istself -- about 5 miles down the road. If you're walking on, parking is free in the area around the Fauntleroy ferry dock, but may be somewhat difficult to find. But guests can also just as easily drive on to the ferry and then drive to the hostel, where parking is also free and certainly more available. Just a few easy steps to get to the wedding: 1. Get to the Fauntleroy ferry dock in West Seattle. It's located at: 4829 SW Barton Street Seattle, WA 98136 Map here: View Larger Map Park around the dock in the surrounding neighborhood if you're walking onto the ferry, or drive into the dock and ticket booth area if you're driving on. 2. Get to Vashon Island Ferries
leave for Vashon from Fauntleroy pretty regularly. On Saturday, July
26th we suggest these ferry departure times from Fauntleroy:
2:00pm 2:20pm 3:00pm Walk-ons: arrive about 15 minutes early to catch your ferry. Drive-ons: arrive about 45-60 minutes early to catch your ferry. 3. Get to the AYH Ranch Hostel If you walked on to the ferry,
look for the shuttle once you get off of the ferry on Vashon. If you
drive on, the hostel is 5 miles away after you get off the ferry, and
there is parking at the hostel.

Walk-ons will be shuttled back to the Vashon ferry dock at the end of the evening. Drive-ons, of course, may leave whenever (but no drunk driving please!). Some suggested departure times for getting off of Vashon at the end of the night: 8:05pm 8:50pm 9:50pm 10:20pm And, really, ferries run pretty much all night... |
