![]() The Brooklyn Kitchen was formerly our go-to local kitchen supply shop, located just 2 blocks from our old apartment in Brooklyn. They've recently celebrated their first year of business, and continue to expand their product lines and cooking class options. Most importantly, they feature a variety of kitchen products made locally in the northeast. ![]() Anna's great grandpa started the N.S. Gustin Company in Los Angeles in the 1950s. The company distributed a variety of home furnishings, and was for a time the sole distributor of Heath Ceramics, designed by Edith Heath. In Anna's extended family, every major family gathering centers around food served on Heath plates, bowls and cups. Though the N.S. Gustin Company has ceased operations, Heath Ceramics lives on, creating quality products informed by a strong commitment to sustaining local quality manufacturing jobs in southern California.
